What is Outbound Marketing?

Kishan Thakkar K

Outbound Marketing consists of engaging with the customers who might know about your product or service. It typically includes direct mail, telemarketing, email marketing, etc.

It refers to the marketing where real estate companies initiate the conversation and send the message out to the audience. It includes more traditional forms of marketing such as advertisements in TV, radio ads, newspaper ads, magazines ads, flyers, brochures, tradeshows, outbound sales calls, email spam, etc.

Outbound marketing can be considered as opposed to inbound marketing. Inbound marketing includes blogging, SEO, opt-in email marketing, etc. The paid advertisement is considered inbound marketing, it is because your ads will appear only after people searches for the services that you offer.

It is difficult to track outbound marketing in comparison to inbound marketing. Despite this fact, developers spend most of their marketing budget on outbound marketing.

Now you might have the question, despite so many benefits of inbound marketing why do people spend so much money on outbound marketing. Well, that’s because it is an easy, interruptive, and traditional method of marketing.
